PHILIPPINE National Police Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) director, Brigadier Generral Clifford B. Gairanod on Sunday told the Journal Group he has ordered a full investigation into a viral Tiktok ‘Ligo Challenge’ involving female motorcycle riders in the country.

The viral Tiktok ‘Ligo challenge’ involves women who are dared to take a bath complete with hair shampoo while riding a motorbike being driven by another female.

Brig. Gen. Gairanod described the challenge as ‘very dangerous’ and is in full violation of the country’s traffic code.

Participants to the dangerous challenge may find themselves being stripped of their driver’s license by the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

The official said one female rider is already being investigated by his men in Southern Mindanao. The woman was identified as the driver of motorbike whose backseat passenger was filmed on video taking a bath. The ‘publicity stunt’ reportedly took place last August 15 in a newly-constructed subdivision in Tagum City.

The 23-year old woman described as a ‘vlogger’ from Tagum City in Davao del Norte has agreed to fully cooperate with the ongoing PNP-HPG investigation.
