PFP welcomes PBBM’s son as latest member
THE Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) on Thursday welcomed presidential son and House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos Jr. of Ilocos Norte’s First District for the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), the political party of his father, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Romualdez Marcos, Jr.
Agusan del Norte 1st District Rep. Jose “Joboy” S. Aquino II, Lakas-CMD Secretary General, said “the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats is honored to welcome House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander ‘Sandro’ A. Marcos as a new member of the party.”
Aquino recalled that “Lakas-CMD and PFP have an inextricable partnership that exemplifies the essence of unity, which became the fundamental force behind our overwhelming victory that essentially reflected the nation’s desire and aspiration for a more stable and stronger Philippines.”
“The oath-taking of SDML Marcos to the party of our Chief Executive, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. not only strengthens the political alignment of the two parties, but reaffirms our shared vision for our beloved Philippines,” Aquino said.
“Together, as partners and stewards of our nation’s progress, we pledge to usher in an era of unparalleled growth and prosperity for all Filipinos. Mabuhay ang Lakas-CMD! Mabuhay ang PFP! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!” Aquino added.
