A ‘HIGH-value drug target’ in Zambales is now in jail after being arrested in an anti-narcotics operation in Subic, Zambales, Police Provincial Office director, Colonel Romano V. Cardiño said on Sunday.

The arrested suspect, Danilo Gingca alias ‘Toto,’ a resident of Sta. Elena Village in Barangay Calapacuan, Subic, yielded five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing nearly three grams of shabu worth more than P20,000, and a marked P500 bill paid to him by an undercover officer.

Cardiño said members of the Subic Municipal Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit led by Lieutenant Noel Villajuan arrested the suspect during a buy-bust at his residence on Block 11 in Sta. Elena Village 3:20 a.m. Sunday.

The suspect is being held at the Subic police lock-up facility and facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of prohibited drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Cardiño said.
