THE best and the brightest in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, led by the Blacklist duo of Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario, and Bren Esports great CJ “RIBO” Ribo headline the inductees to the inaugural MPL Philippines Hall of Legends at the Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Quezon City.

OhMyV33nus, one of the most awarded players in ML-BB history, led Blacklist International to two MPL Philippines titles and a world title in the M3 World Championships.

Recently, she was also named the Most Valuable Player in MPL Philippines Season 10, helping Blacklist return to M4 World Championship where they will get a chance to defend their title in Jakarta, Indonesia on January.

She is also best remembered for winning a gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam early this year.

Wise, on the other hand, is the King of the Queen and his presence in the jungle helped catapult his team to multiple victories. He is also widely responsible for the success of Blacklist International.

A two-time MPL champion, Ribo, is widely considered as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) in MLBB in the Philippines.

Ribo is also the first and only player in the ML:BB history to win an MPL title, an MSC title, a SEA Games gold medal, and a world championship.

Joining them in the first batch of MPL legends are Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Setsuna “Akosi Dogie” Ignacio, Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, Jeniel “YellyHaze” Bata-anon, Christian “Rafllesia” Fajura, Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, and Brian “Panda” Lim.

Multi-titled shoutcaster Manjean Faldas, who is long considered as the voice of MPL Philippines, was named as an honorary inductee.

Nepomuceno is one of the youngest players when he first started playing MLBB. He rose to prominence when he won the M2 World Championship and the 2019 SEA Games gold medal for MLBB.

The players were selected based on three criteria: gaming performance, community contribution, and overall impact.
