MPTC offers scholarship for accounting, engineering, education
METRO Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the leading mobility infrastructure and solutions provider in the Philippines, kicked off its scholarship program for academic year 2023-2024.
Together with its subsidiaries— NLEX Corp., MPT South, and Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway Corp.— and in partnership with 14 universities, the program aims to provide educational assistance to students from low-income households.
The scholarship grant will provide full tuition, monthly allowance, and miscellaneous benefits for other expenses.
Aside from the monetary component, scholars can enjoy internship, board review and exam fees, and job opportunities in the MPTC group upon graduation.
The MPTC has opened more roads to success. Through the help of its three subsidiaries, the MPTC Group opens more opportunities for deserving students from low-income households to pursue their careers in the fields of Accounting, Engineering, and Education without any financial hindrance.
The program, which started in 2012 with just three partner universities at that time – the Bulacan State University, Holy Angel University, and University of the Philippines, – the scholarship now expanded to partner colleges and universities in Visayas and Mindanao.

The 14 partner-schools for this academic year are the University of the Philippines – Diliman, Far Eastern University, Miriam College, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Bulacan State University, Don Honorio State University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Paranaque, Technological University of the Philippines – Cavite, Cavite State University System, Emilio Aguinaldo College – Cavite, Lyceum of the Philippines University – Cavite, Southern Philippines Institute of Science and Technology, Cordova Public College, and Mindanao State University.
The MPTC, which is in the business of building and operating toll roads in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam, is the biggest toll road developer in the Philippines, with a current portfolio that includes the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEX), Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) and NLEX Connector.
