MC rider dies in Taal road crash
A MAN died after the motorcycle (MC) he was driving hit two cars that had collided and got stuck in the middle of the street in Barangay Cawit, Taal, Batangas, Monday night.
Taal Municipal Police Station (MPS) head cop P/Maj. Dante L. Majadas said that based on the initial investigation, at about 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 14, a vehicle was traversing the road of the said barangay, and while making a U-turn going to Lemery, Batangas, it was accidentally hit by another vehicle going to the same direction.
The first vehicle’s driver said he did not notice the incoming vehicle while making the U-turn due to “low visibility.”
The damaged vehicles were stuck in the middle of the road when moments later, a Yamaha NMAX did not slow down and was not able to avoid the vehicles.
According to the drivers of the vehicles, they tried to flag down the MC rider, but he did not stop.
The victim sustained multiple injuries on different parts of the body and was rushed to Batangas Provincial Hospital Lemery Batangas for medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.
