Mayor Oca holds last City Dev’t Council General Assembly
CALOOCAN City Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan led the last virtual City Development Council General Assembly for this year which was held on Wednesday afternoon.
The virtual event via Zoom was attended by department heads, bureau chiefs, members of the Executive Committee of the City Development Council, barangay officials, school division office and representative of the local city police and jail officers.
The meeting highlighted the passing of the resolution approving the inclusion and correction of certain programs, projects and activities for personal services, maintenance and other operation expenses and property, plant and equipment under general fund for budget year 2022.
The fight against COVID-19, continued vaccination for the remaining city population and the constantly rising of economy under new normal were also tackled in the last assembly.
“Kailangan nating ipagpatuloy ang pagsusulong ng mga programa at serbisyo na kapaki-pakinabang sa ating mga mamamayan lalu na ngayong panahon ng pandemya upang makabangon ang lahat sa naranasang hirap ng marami nating kababayan,” Mayor Oca said.
