Mayor Along leads groundbreaking of columbarium
CALOOCAN City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan recently led the groundbreaking of the new columbarium which is expected to help address the overcrowding and space issues at local public cemeteries at Camarin, Caloocan City North.
Mayor Along expressed the importance of honoring the memory of loved ones and hopes that the columbarium will provide a decent and peaceful final resting place for the deceased.
“Nagsikap po kami na humanap ng paraan upang magkaroon pa rin ng disenteng paglalagakan ang ating mga yumaong mahal sa buhay. Sa huli man lang po na pagkakataon ay patuloy nating maipadama sa kanila ang respeto at pagmamahal,” Mayor Along stated.
He added that the new columbarium is just one of the upcoming major projects of the local government and notes the benefit of each project.
He reiterates his administration’s commitment to improve the quality of life for every Caloocan resident.
“Ang columbarium po dito sa Camarin ay isa lamang sa malalaking proyekto ng ating pamahalaan. Hindi ko na po iisa-isahin subalit ang tinitiyak ko ay mapapakinabangan ito ng bawat Batang Kankaloo,” the Mayor said.
