Victim about to complain about wife’s’ affair’
BITS of the jeepney driver’s head must have splattered on his daughter and relatives. He fell down like a mangled mannequin amid the hair-raising screams of his companions. The victim was on his way to Senator Raffy Tulfo’s ‘Tulfo in Action’ center to complain about his wife’s alleged affair and seek financial support for his children. But two bullets to his brain had foiled everything.
The jeepney driver was gunned down in front of his daughter and other relatives while on their way to Senator Raffy Tulfo’s action center in Quezon City to complain about his wife alleged illicit affair on Monday morning.
Killed on the spot was Joseph Dela Cruz, 42, resident of Paquita Street, Barangay Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City
A report from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Quezon City Police District showed the incident happened at about 4 a.m. of March 6, 2023, along Nitang Avenue corner Quirino Highway, Barangay Gulod Novaliches, Quezon City
The victim, together with his daughter, and other relatives were reportedly on their way to TULFO IN ACTION center to complain about his wife’s alleged illicit affair as well as her supposed failure in giving financial support to their children.
However, while they were walking in the area, the still unidentified gunman on board a motorcycle suddenly appeared from behind and shot the victim twice in the head, causing his instantaneous death.
The suspect immediately fled on board his motorcycle to an unknown direction bringing with him the weapon used to kill the victim.
The victim’s relatives immediately reported the incident to the officials of Barangay Gulod, who sought police action.
