OVER 5,000 residents received complete medical and laboratory services from the Lab For All Program initiated by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, in coordination with the City Government of Caloocan, on Tuesday at the Caloocan City Sports Complex.

Various laboratory tests are offered at the program for free, such as complete blood count (CBC), fasting blood sugar (FBS), electrocardiogram (ECG), and x-ray, in addition to a 3-day medical mission held at various barangays prior to the said Lab For All event.

Other services are also set to be provided to the city’s residents on separate dates after the event, including a breastfeeding lecture, oral health check-up, and a nutrition and diet planning workshop.

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan expressed his immense gratitude towards the First Lady and the President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos for the goals of the program and the assistance it provided to Caloocan residents.

“Una po sa lahat, bilang alkalde ng Lungsod ng Caloocan, nagpapasalamat po ako sa mga naririto ngayong lalong-lalo na po sa ating First Lady sa pagbaba ng Lab For All dito sa Caloocan,” Mayor Along said.

“Ngayon, nakikita at nadarama ng mga taga-Caloocan ang aksyon at malasakit ni Pangulong BBM at ng ating First Lady kasama ng buong pamahalaang nasyonal,” he added.

The City Mayor likewise renewed his administration’s commitment to give priority to the health and safety programs, on the way to fulfill a larger promise of creating a better life for his constituents.

“Kamakailan lamang po ay sunud-sunod ang mga programa at imprastrakturang sinimulan natin para tutukan ang kalusugan ng ating mga mamamayan. Lahat po ito ay upang maisakatuparan ang pagbuo ng isang magandang buhay para sa inyo, mga Batang Kankaloo,” the local chief executive said.

Aside from medical services, around 2,000 individuals in crisis situations also received financial assistance, free meals, and grocery packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), as well as an optional free skills training from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
