‘Jealous’ baker dies on 2nd suicide try
A BAKER died on his second suicide try.
The lifeless body of the 32-year-old victim was discovered at an abandoned house adjacent to the bread house he was working in Barangay Silangan, Quezon City.
A report from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Quezon City Police District showed that a fellow employee of the victim discovered the suicide incident at about 8:11 a.m. on June 8, 2021.
It was learned that a week prior to the incident, the victim attempted to hang himself at the same place apparently.
Jealousy apparently drove the baker to end his life.
Investigation showed the victim’s coworkers noticed his absence in the kitchen. They searched for him in the establishment and later find him hanging lifeless at the wooden beam inside an adjacent abandoned house.
