IMUS CITY, Cavite – The local government’s Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) closed down on Friday some establishments here that have allegedly not been paying business taxes.

Imus City BPLO head Jasmin Ramos led the issuance of the closure order and closing of the 9-Doors residential apartment in Barangay Anabu 1-C, Wood Works Shop along Aguinaldo Highway in Barangay Anabu 1-E, Hardware in Green Estate Phase 3, Malagasang 1 -G and 6-Doors commercial apartment in Barangay Palico 4 because the establishments allegedly do not have business permits in their records.

“To all lessors, better to leave the place you rented that are not paying right taxes, rather than magka-problema kayo sa huli,” BPLO head Jasmin Ramos said in an interview.

“Itong mga pinasara po nating mga bussiness establishments na ito ay maari pa din pong magbukas o mag-operate ng kanilang businesses upon payment of their debts,” Ramos added.
