THE official website of the House of Representatives has been voluntarily taken offline once again, due to suspicious hacking attempts.

In a statement release by House Secretary General Reginald Velasco, despite the recent security enhancements, there were suspicious and unusual activities detected and need to further scrutinize.

“This action has been taken as a precautionary measure to double-check and reinforce the cybersecurity measures we have undertaken, ensuring no vulnerabilities remain. Our primary concern is to guarantee the safety, integrity, and reliability of our digital platform for the citizens we serve,” Velasco said.

“We understand the inconvenience this might cause and appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we work diligently to address these concerns. Our commitment to transparency and open communication remains unwavering, and we will provide updates as soon as we have more information,” he added.

On Monday afternoon, the House announced that the website was already restored after fixing the defaced format incurred by a group 3 Musketeeerz.

However, it was again taken down as some of the contents such as copies of bills and resolutions are still not working properly.
