Guevarra guest of honor at NBI’s 85th anniversary
JUSTICE Secretary Menardo Guevarra will be the guest of honor and speaker during the 85th Founding Anniversary of the National Bureau of Investigation on Friday, November 12, 2021.
With the theme “NBI @85: Bayaning Matatag at Maaasahan sa Kabila ng Pandemya”, the anniversary celebration begins on November 10, 2021, at 1 p.m. where Service Awards will be given to NBI employees who have been in the Bureau for 10 to 40 years.
On November 11, 2021, there will be a whole-day Command Conference to be attended by top officials of the NBI including Regional Directors, Agents-In-Charge and Chiefs of Manila-based Divisions.
Culminating the celebration on November 12, 2021, there will be a Thanksgiving Mass at the NBI Chapel along Taft avenue at 8:00 a.m. to be followed by the wreath laying ceremony at the Wall of Honor to commemorate and honor the NBI Agents and Special Investigators who died in the line of duty.
Part of the celebration is the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) which includes the awarding of Outstanding Agents and Special Investigators and other operating units via Zoom.
Othe activities include a one-day bloodletting at the Clearance Center along UN Avenue Manila on November 10, 2021 beginning at 8am, in partnership with the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).
Post anniversary celebration includes a one-day Passport Processing to be conducted by the DFA for NBI personnel at the NBI Gym a week after the anniversary celebration and Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Registration to be held on November 15-19, 2021 at the NBI gym.
