Girl, 7, stabbed dead by ‘playmate’
A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl was allegedly stabbed dead by her 14-year-old “playmate” in Aklan.
The victim was a resident of Bgy. Cawayan, New Washington, Aklan.
The suspect is a neighbor of the victim.
An investigation showed the suspect brought the victim to a grassy portion in Bgy. Cawayan.
For unknown reasons, the 14-year-old boy allegedly stabbed the victim twice before fleeing.
The bleeding girl still managed able to return home and reveal her ordeal to her parents, who rushed her to the hospital but to no avail.
Police are investigating if the young girl was sexually-abused before she was fatally stabbed.
It was learned that probers found at the crime scene the child’s underwear and shorts.
Responding lawmen arrested the boy in a nearby village. He was later turned over to the local Department of Social Welfare and Development for proper disposition.
