I WOULD like to greet our friends in media on the recent celebration of International Press Freedom Day.
A free and intelligent press is necessary in a strong and vibrant democracy.
Citizens who lack factual and latest information cannot participate in national affairs and other democratic engagements. In a world full of slander, wrong, and malicious news, we expect our friends in the press to stand up for what is right because only responsible journalism will push democracy in any challenge of the time.
