Ex-Mindanao female councilor arrested for drugs in Cavite
DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — Four persons were arrested by operatives of the Cavite Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) during a drug operation Sunday (June 19,2021) night in Barangay Burol Main.
Officer-on-case PSMS Roberto Lasaca identified the apprehended suspects as Haifa Hadjiasis, 50, female, former municipal councilor of Lanao del Sur, resident of B4, L4, Corner Village, Bgy Burol Main Dasmariñas City; Mila Sultan, 50, of Excess Lot, Barangay Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas City; Esmael Dimasar,18, of Bgy. Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas City and Jabar Macalanggan, 27, of Bgy. Burol,Main Dasmariñas City.
A report said the suspects were nabbed after allegedly selling 10 plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P100,000.
Hadjiasis yielded six sachets of suspected shabu inside blue pouch, digital weighing scale and marked money worth P1,000.
Arresting officers also confiscated a sachet contain suspected shabu from Esmael and Jabar respectively.
A white Toyota Jo-ace was also seized from the suspects.
The suspects are now at the Dasmariñas lockup center and are facing charges for illegal possession of drugs.
