Most wanted in Negros, arrested in Boracay Island
BORACAY ISLAND, Aklan- A fugitive wanted for murder from Negros Island was collared here Sunday.
Lt. Col. Don Dicksie de Dios, chief of police, reported that Rolando Magbanua, who is temporarily residing in Sitio Diniwid, Bgy. Balabag, Boracay, Malay, was caught off guard when Col. De Dios and his men led by Lt. Joven Vega, Lt. Col. Eduardo Corpuz of Victoria PNP station, Capt Stephamie Gammad of 605th mobile force, swooped down his hiding place.
The suspect was arrested based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Dyna Doll Tiongson-Trocio, of the Regional Trial Court Branch 40 in Silay City.
According to Col. De Dios, the suspect was listed as Top 7th most wanted person.
No bail was recommended for the suspect’s provisional liberty.
