ECHO, NXP Evos in winning starts in MPL Season 11
ECHO and NXP Evos opened their campaigns in Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (ML:BB) MPL Philippines Season 11 with victories over their respective opponents at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.
ECHO, the reigning M4 World Champion and season 10 runner-up, completed a 2-0 sweep over Season 10 champion Blacklist International.
Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera’s Atlast led the Orcas in game 1 as he finished with 0-0-9 kill-death-assists.
At mark 11:04 on the match, ECHO destroyed the middle turret of Blacklist while Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales and Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno posted double kills each to end the first game with 11:29.
Bennyqt scored 8-0-5 KDA and KarlTzy had 5-1-4 KDA.
In Game Two, Blacklist secured the Evolved Lord and force three players from Agents to defend against four players of Orcas.
ECHO secured the second match 20-17 on 24:41 and took the first victory of the season.
Bennyqt had 7-2-7 KDA, Alston “Sanji” Placibo added 7-3-8 KDA.
Meanwhile, NXP Evos dominated TNC, 2-0.
NXP started strong and drew first blood at 12-6, with Borris “BruskoDR: Parro being named the MVP of the match after scoring 0-1-9 KDA.
DomengDR was named the MVP of the second match on his Karrie’s 10-4-11 KDA, posting their first win of the season, 33-17 (28:38).
Unlike in the first game, the win did not come easy.
Robee “NinjaKilla” Pormicille put the pressure on NXP’s lanes with his gold lane Zilong pick.
