Cavite City reopens Christmas-themed park
CAVITE CITY – Tagged as the “city of two bays” in historic Cavite province, Cavite City celebrated the feast of Nuestra Señora de Porta Vaga and the reopening of the Christmas-themed public park for the remaining months of 2022.
Senator Imee Marcos led the inauguration of Muralla Park together with Mayor Denver Chua and Vice Mayor Raleigh Rusit, and city councilors.
Coinciding with the feast of the patroness, Muralla offers a carnival park, tiangges, and food park along Samonte Park and Unlad Park in the City Hall parking lot.
“Muli po natin ibinalik ang sigla ng ating mahal na lungsod ngayong Pagdiriwang ng Fiesta at sa nalalapit na Kapaskuhan,” Mayor Chua said in an interview.
The renovated Muralla Park will attract more people to relax and feel the breeze of Cañacao Bay.
