Bong Go hails FPRRD ‘excellent’ end-of-term satisfaction rating; thanks him for service to PH
SENATOR Christopher “Bong” Go hailed former president Rodrigo Duterte’s excellent satisfaction rating as the latter remained popular with the Filipino people until his last days in office.
Go said that former president Duterte’s excellent satisfaction rating is “truly heartwarming” and “most inspiring” for anyone in public service.
“A historic high among Filipino presidents and one of the highest among leaders of major democracies in the world, his phenomenal brand of leadership further emboldens any public servant to work harder for our people,” stated Go.
Former president Duterte received an all-time record-high +81 net satisfaction score, according to a report released on Friday by the polling firm Social Weather Stations. The score, derived from surveys conducted from June 26 to June 29, his final days in Malacañang, surpassed another record set by him, a +79 gained in the survey’s November 2020 edition.
Duterte’s satisfaction rating in all regions, including Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, have also risen.
Meanwhile, Go said that, working with Duterte for more than 20 years, he is grateful to him for being his mentor.
“Bilang isang simpleng probinsyanong katulad ni Tatay Digong na binigyan ng pagkakataong maging isang public servant, gagawin ko ang lahat upang maipagpatuloy ang mga pagbabagong nasimulan para makapagbigay ng mas komportableng buhay para sa mga Pilipino,” he added.
He then thanked the former president for all the work and service the latter has done for the country and the lessons he has taught fellow public servants.
“Maraming salamat, Tatay Digong, sa lahat ng iyong ginawa para sa bayan at sa pinakamahalagang itinuro mo sa amin: ‘Unahin mo palagi ang iyong kapwa Pilipino, hinding-hindi ka magkakamali dito’,” concluded Go.
