Bianca1BIANCA Umali and Ruru Madrid’s primetime drama series, “The Write One”, is ending this Thursday, May 25, and their fans are eager to find out what will happen to their characters, Joyce and Liam, as the show concludes.

“Naku, basta huwag po kayong bibitaw kasi ang finale week namin, talagang punumpuno ng drama, action, suspense and maraming scenes na kinunan namin on location in the beautiful city of Paris in France,” says Bianca.

“Gusto naming pasalamatan lahat ng tumangkilik sa aming show since we started airing in March,” adds Ruru. “Shooting our final scenes in Paris is so fulfilling kasi it’s the city of love and really one of the most romantic places in the world. Diyan nyo malalaman kung ano ang mangyayari sa amin ni Bianca. Will love be rekindled between us matapos ng mga gusot na aming pinagdaanan? Or will it be the bittersweet ending sa love story nina Liam and Joyce?”

He says they shot a heavy dramatic scene in a public place and many foreign tourists got curious and watched them as they enacted their scene in front of the camera. “After we did the scene, nagulat kami, kasi nagpalakpakan silang lahat,” adds Ruru. “We were so flattered. Nakakatuwa kasi kahit hindi nila ma-understand ‘yung dialogue namin, naramdaman daw nila ang bigat ng eksena dahil sa acting namin.”

Sparkle stars Ruru and Bianca brought life to the characters of Liam and Joyce/Savanna in their first show together, “The Write One”. Fellow Sparkle artists Mikee Quintos and Paul Salas made the story even more interesting as they portrayed Via and Hans.

Now on its finale week, the magical typewriter will once again play a significant role in the lives of the characters. With timelines being revised not just by Liam, but by Via and Joyce as well, expect the unexpected as to where their stories would go.

“The Write One” is the first-ever drama produced by GMA Public Affairs with scenes shot outside of the Philippines. They really spent a lot for this very memorable ending for the show. Fans should watch out for Liam and Joyce in various Parisian landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe.

“Pangarap naman talaga namin makapunta dun at nasuwertehan lang namin na magkasama kami sa trabaho na, bakasyon pa,” Ruru says. “After our shoot, we opted to stay there for a few more days to see the sights. I will always be grateful to GMA Public Affairs, and Viu Philippines for giving me this chance to be part of ‘The Write One.’ In portraying Liam, I have grown in my craft as an actor and as a person. I would also like to thank all our co-actors who made each shooting day memorable. To all the viewers who rooted for Liam as he explored the alternate timeline and returned to the real timeline – thank you. The success of this series is because of you.”

“It’s no secret that ‘The Write One’ is a very special project for me,” says Bianca in turn. “Giving life to Joyce and Savanna was very challenging since they are almost totally different persons. This series taught me a lot about myself and about life. While this is the very first time I get to share the screen with Ruru as his love interest, I enjoyed every part of this show because I was also with Mikee and Paul and all these great actors and the production team who helped build the story from day one.”
