Another oil price cut
OIL firms imposed another price rollback, the third consecutive week, effective today.
In separate advisories, major oil firm Chevron Philippines at 12:01 a.m. implemented a price cut of their gasoline products by P0.85, diesel by P1.20 and kerosene by P1.30, while Petron Corporation and Pilipinas Shell carried out the same price adjustments around 6 a.m.
Independent oil companies PTT Philippines, Total Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum, Petro Gazz, Seaoil and Unioil Philippines announced the same price cuts of gasoline and diesel products starting 6 a.m. while Clean Fuel started at 8:01 a.m.
PTT Philippines Communication Officer Jhay Julian said the third round of fuel price rollback mainly reflect movements in the international oil market.
