BBM tops broadsheet online poll

PARTIDO Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. again topped the online presidential survey conducted by Manila Bulletin through its different social media platforms from November 19 to November 21.

Based on the official result issued by the said daily, Marcos got the highest scores in the survey done on Facebook and the Manila Bulletin (MB) website, garnering 53.4% and 55.4%, respectively.

Leni Robredo came a far second, with 19.8% on Facebook and 34.9% on the MB website. Manila Mayor Isko Moreno emerged third, with 22.7% on Facebook and 3.6% on the MB website.

Fourth on Facebook was Sen. Bong Go, with 3.2%; followed by Leody de Guzman with 0.4%; Sen. Panfilo Lacson got 0.3% and Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 0.6%.

Go also came fourth in the website survey with 3.2%; Lacson was fifth with 1.6%; next was Pacquiao with 0.7% and De Guzman with 0.6%.

Robredo got a slightly higher percentage in the Twitter poll with 49%, but Marcos was hot on her heels, with 41%. De Guzman came third, with 5%; Lacson and Go, both with 2%, were tied on the 4th rank; and the 5th rank was taken by both Morena and Pacquiao, with 1% each.

Manila Bulletin reported that the Facebook survey had the most respondents, with more than 671,000, while the website survey had 15,669 respondents and the Twitter poll had 101,248.

Respondents were required to have a Gmail account and could only vote once.

Marcos and his running-mate Davao City Mayor and vice-presidential aspirant Sara Duterte also posted wide margins in the other recent survey results.
