TAGBILARAN CITY – The fourth Alagang Tingog Center in Bohol was inaugurated last Friday in Tagbilaran City.

The successful collaboration involving the Offices of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, Tingog Party-list Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude A. Acidre, along with the Office of the Presidential Assistance in Visayas, resulted in the establishment of the ATC in the City of Peace and Friendship.

The putting up of another ATC demonstrates their unwavering commitment to the well-being of Filipinos and in creating deep relationship with the people.

During the event, some 1,000 marginalized citizens each received P5,000 financial aid.

The occasion extended beyond financial assistance, encompassing a diverse range of offerings.

Alongside monetary support, there were raffle prizes, including essential grocery packages, household appliances, bicycles, and an enticing grand prize –- a motorcycle.

The event was further enlivened by the entertaining presence of comedian-artist Wacky Kiray, whose performance elicited laughter and joy.

The festive ambiance was elevated by local dancers and a dynamic drum and lyre corps, contributing to an atmosphere of vibrant celebration.

Other dignitaries like Office of the Presidential Assistance for the Visayas Undersecretary Terence Calatrava, Gov. Aris Aumentado, Bohol 1st District Rep. Edgar M. Chatto, Mayor Jane Yap, and other local officials were present, expressing deep appreciation for the support offered by the Tingog Party-list.

Yap reminded the people that when the fire incident damaged Poblacion II, Tingog Party-list was among the first to respond to the victims.

She urged her constituents to continue the support and love for Tingog.

Chatto expressed his appreciation for Tingog for extending support through the establishment of ATCs and provision of cash assistance to the whole province of Bohol, particularly in Ubay, Sierra Bullones, Balilihan, and Tagbilaran City.

Chatto testified to Tingog’s consistent service for the Filipinos. “I am a witness to that. Today we are very fortunate that we were visited and will continue to be visited,” the representative added.

Rep. Yedda Romualdez extended her heartfelt gratitude to the partners in the 1st District of Bohol, particularly acknowledging Chatto and the city officials for their invaluable contributions.

She said Tingog Party-list is not just a political entity but a working force with a clear purpose of serving the community wholeheartedly ever since the Yolanda crisis in 2013 and the earthquake in Bohol before.

She underscored that their mission is to stand by the people, providing unwavering support whenever needed, especially in times of need and desperation.

“Tingog Party-list will be happy to help you and I will visit Bohol often,” Rep. Romualdez assured the people. With Jester Manalastas
