479 suspects fall, over P1.5M drugs seized in CL anti-crime ops

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A weeklong anti-crime campaign of the Central Luzon police from October 31 to November 6 arrested 479 law offenders, over P1.5 million worth of illegal drugs confiscated, and cash bets from gamblers.

PRO3 (Police Regional Office 3) Director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen said among the 479 arrests, 229 persons have standing warrants of arrest, and 31 are most wanted with strings of warrants of arrest ranging from murder, homicide and rape.

A total of 235.77grams of shabu with a DDB (Dangerous Drugs Board) value of P1,598,000 and 202.80 grams of marijuana worth P24,360 were confiscated, including 17 assorted firearms from 151 individuals.

Ninety persons were apprehended for illegal gambling, including P60,260 bet money, while nine were arrested for violating special laws.

Pasiwen assured the public of PRO3’s “unrelenting commitment to curb all forms of crimes in the region as the Central Luzon cops remain steadfast in mobilizing its resources and continuous efforts to address lawlessness.”
