2022 Bar exams to proceed as scheduled – SC spox
THE 2022 Digitalized and Localized Bar Examination will proceed as scheduled this month, Supreme Court (SC) Spokesperson Brian Keith Hosaka said on Tuesday.
The schedules are November 9 (Wednesday); 13 (Sunday); 16 (Wednesday); and 20 (Sunday) – pursuant to Bar Bulletin No. 6, S. 2022, signed by Bar chairperson, SC Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa.
The SC disclosed that it will continue to use “Examplify” in this year’s exam – a secure examination delivery program where examinees can use their laptop computers in their preferred venue, which are monitored by in-person proctors and closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras.
Examplify will be implemented anew following the success of the 2020/21 Bar Examinations, which was digitalized and regionalized.
The SC said that access to the computer-based testing software will be available to all Bar applicants approved to take the exam conditional or unconditional.
The instructions on how to use and navigate Examplify will be announced in a separate bulletin.
On Monday, Hosaka said that some 9,916 Bar examinees out of 10,075 approved applicants are expected to take the 2022 Bar Examinations.
This year’s Bar exams will be held in 14 local testing centers across the country.
