TWO policemen — one in Laguna, the other in Cavite — are facing rape charges.

In Laguna, a 45-year-old police officer was arrested for allegedly molesting his three-year-old daughter in their home in Cabuyao City.

Cabuyao City police chief Lt. Col. Jack Angog said the suspect is assigned at the Regional Headquarters in Canlubang, Laguna.

The victim’s aunt filed the complaint against the cop-suspect after the child complained of pain on her private part.

An examination on the child proved she was abused.

Arresting officers found in the suspect’s sling bag a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.

In Cavite, an active police officer on Thursday voluntarily surrendered himself after a warrant of arrest was issued against him for rape charges.

The accused, a police non-commissioned officer and a resident of Bgy. Pasong Langka, Silang, Cavite, turned himself over to the Silang Police Station under Lt. Col. Romulo Dela Rea.

The arrest warrant was issued by Hon Judge Minelli S Rocio-Carvajal of the Tagaytay City Regional Trial Court, with no bail recommended.

The accused cop also surrendered to Dela Rea his service Glock 17 firearm, a PNP badge and a PNP ID. By Gil Aman and Dennis Abrina
