
Yanson reelected chairman of Mindanao transport
BUSINESSMAN Leo Rey Yanson was re-appointed chairman and president of Rural Transit (Mindanao) Inc. (RTMI) during the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting on February 12, 2025.
Rural Transit Mindanao reelected shareholders Olivia V. Yanson, Leo Rey V. Yanson, Charles M. Dumancas, Rey C. Ardo, Anita G. Chua, and Daniel Nicolas P. Golez as members of the board of directors.
Following the election, the board subsequently reappointed Leo Rey V. Yanson as chairman of the board and president of RTMI and Olivia V. Yanson as corporate secretary and treasurer, the company said in a statement.
Leo Rey Yanson assured the public that despite the operational challenges, the company remains strong and resilient.
“We remain steadfast in our goal to serve the Filipino commuters and provide the most reliable means of public transportation,” he said.

It belongs to the Yanson Group of Bus Companies, the largest road transport conglomerate in the country.
