POLICEMEN in Western Visayas arrested three top crime suspects, including a New People’s Army member facing murder rap, last week, Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 director Brigadier General Sydney N. Villaflor reported Sunday.

The official said that one alias Jomar, a 47, of Purok 11, Brgy. Asia in Hinobaan, Negros Occidental, is included in the PNP-AFP list of wanted NPA members and tagged as belonging to the CPP/NPA Komiteng Rehiyon Negros/Cebu/Bohol/Siquijor.

The suspect was arrested last Wednesday afternoon on the strength of a warrant of arrest for murder issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Kabankalan City Regional Trial Court Branch 61.

The accused is now being held at the Candoni Municipal Police Station lock-up facility.

A 2nd suspect identified as alias Joseph, a man wanted for car theft, was arrested in Pueblo de Panay in Bgy. Lawaan, Roxas City last Tuesday.

The 3rd suspect, identified as Juanito, was arrested on the basis of a warrant for lascivious conduct in relation to the anti-child abuse law.

The suspect was apprehended in Sitio Igpatuyao in Bgy. Poblacion in Sebaste, Antique last Thursday.
