Video Shows What Could be a Huge Bigfoot in Idaho

Welcome to today’s episode of “You be the judge.” In this edition, we’ll look at what is said to be a video of a huge Bigfoot walking somewhere in Idaho. If it’s real, it beats the quality of the famous and still controversial Patterson–Gimlin film and the length of the recent video from Michigan of an alleged Bigfoot carrying a baby across a river. Is this the missing video link proving the existence of Bigfoot or just another well-made hoax?

Let’s start with the obvious. Whatever this is, it’s BIG. Big head, big butt, big body, thick legs, large arms. That would have to be a pretty large human to be a person inside of a costume. Along those lines, if it was a human in a costume, its wardrobe assistant managed to find one with a pretty snug fit. You don’t see Bigfoot impersonators in costumes that realistic … if this is what Bigfoot really looks like. The gait is a normal walking gait – nothing bearish or ape-like about it. Nv Tv, which claims to have received it from an unnamed source and maintains a YouTube repository of alleged Bigfoot videos, slows the video down and magnifies some of the stills, but they don’t really reveal anything unusual. The creature walks past a tree, but it’s not a great perspective for judging its height.
Watch the video again and we’ll take a skeptical view.
There are no details given about the owner of the video or the location – that could be to protect the identity of both. There’s nothing in the video showing real movement – it doesn’t brush against the branch, for example – so this could be an average CGI video. The videographer doesn’t follow it or look for footprints. The angle doesn’t show the face, which is the toughest thing for a costume maker to make realistic – a possible reason why these videos never seem to show the alleged Bigfoot changing facial expressions, blinking, chewing, blowing kisses or whatever they could do to prove it was a real face on a real Bigfoot. While the quality is decent, it’s still grainy – or made to look grainy. Again, with no details, we have no idea how far away it was.

Some of the YouTube commenters claim to see calf muscles moving in the legs. Idaho, while not the state most people think of for Bigfoot sightings, is actually in the top five by population. In 2017, a woman driving on U.S. 95 near Potlach, Idaho, claimed to be watching “a shaggy seven- to eight-foot-tall creature running after the deer on the side of the highway” right before the deer ran in front of her car and she hit it. Those who have been clamoring for more video evidence from Bigfoot spotters now have this one to go along with the ‘Bigfoot carrying a baby’ one from Michigan.
A quick scan on the two posts of the video on the Nv Tv YouTube page leans heavily towards believers. This writer is skeptical in general of videos with no supporting evidence of any kind, and this falls squarely in that category. On the other hand, there’s nothing in it that can conclusively rule out authenticity.
