Triker nabbed for drug in Laguna
THE Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) arrested a 49-year-old tricycle driver for allegedly pushing drugs Sunday in Pagsanjan, Laguna.
Laguna Police Provincial Director PCol. Serafin Petalio II, in a report to Calabarzon Regional Director PBGen.Eliseo DC Cruz, identified the arrested suspect as Randy Cejo, of Bgy.Pinagsanjan, Pagsanjan,Laguna.
A report showed the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of Pagsanjan police conducted the operation in Bgy. Poblacion Dos where the suspect was allegedly caught in the act of selling a sachet of suspected shabu for P300 to a police officer who posed as poseur buyer.
The operation resulted in the arrest of the suspect, recovery of the buy-bust money, and the confiscation of a red cigarette flip top case, 2 P100 bills and a red Honda TMX 150cc Supremo with blue sidecar.
The arrested suspect and the confiscated evidence will be brought to the Provincial Crime Laboratory Office in Sta Cruz, Laguna for laboratory tests while an appropriate complaint will be filed at the Office of Provincial Prosecutor Office in Sta. Cruz, Laguna.
