Trader dies in road mishap
A MALE trader was killed when the motorcycle he was driving collided with an Isuzu truck along the road in Bgy. Masaya, Rosario, Batangas Tuesday evening.
Rosario Municipal Police Station (MPS) police identified the fatality as Harold Gudia Estoce, 30, single, a merchant and resident of Bgy. Pallocan West, Batangas City.
The incident was reported at 9:05 p.m. on June 14 to Rosario MPS Tactical Operation Center (TOC), who immediately responded to the scene.
Initial investigation showed that at about 8:50 p.m. on the same date, the Yamaha Mio being driven by the victim was traveling towards Ibaan, Batangas, when he overtook another motorcycle and accidentally collided with the oncoming Isuzu dropside truck
The trader sustained injuries in different parts of the body and was rushed to Mahal na Virgen Maria Sto Rosario District Hospital in Bgy. Namunga, Rosario, but pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. Luzviminda Lipat, the attending physician.
The victim’s remains were taken to Crismar Funeral Parlor in Padre Garcia, Batangas, for autopsy, while the truck driver was brought to Rosario MPS for proper disposition.
