Toll holiday sa Cavitex iiral sa Hulyo
MAY alok na toll holiday si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa mga motorista na dadaan sa Cavitex simula sa Hulyo.
Ito ay matapos irekomenda ng Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) na nagsisilbing operator ng Cavitex na gawing libre ang paggamit sa kalsada.
Iiral ang toll holiday sa buong buwan ng Hulyo sa lahat ng klase ng sasakyan.
“This is especially so after receiving the good news that the PRA or the Philippine Reclamation Authority, as operator of the CAVITEX, proposed to suspend the collection of toll fees for all types of vehicles passing through the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway in Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor, and Kawit for 30 days. This will introduce our new roads, expressways to those who are in need of that transport system,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos sa groundbreaking ng Cavitex-Calax Link, Cavitex C5 Link Segment 3B at inagurasyon ng Cavitex C5 Link Sucat Interchange sa Paranaque City.
“So, we welcome this call and thank the PRA for its initiative to help mitigate the impact of rising fuel costs to our motorists. I now count on our Toll Regulatory Board to ensure the immediate implementation, for the benefit of the riding and the transport public,” dagdag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Ayon sa Pangulo, bunga ang proyekto ng Private-Public Partnership projects ng PRA, Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation at Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation.
Tinatayang nasa 23,000 na motorista ang makikinabang araw-araw sa bagong kalsada.
