Suspect in murder of teen biker nabbed
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – PRO3 (Police Regional Office 3) Director Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen on Thursday announced the arrest of the prime suspect in the murder of a 15-year-old biker in Bulacan by joint personnel of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) 5 and the Bulacan Police in Barangay Veneracion, (Taguilid) Pamplona, Camarines Sur.
Pasiwen identified the suspect as alias “Jose,” who was positively identified by witnesses as the last known companion of the victim.
The victim’s brother told police that before his sister’s death, the victim mentioned that she would meet a certain “Jose” who would give her a bicycle.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect has three outstanding arrest warrants for violation of RA 7610 or Anti-Child Abuse Law and rape without bail.
Criminal complaints of rape with homicide were filed against the suspect before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Malolos City, Bulacan.
Pasiwen added that the concerted efforts and intelligence-driven operations conducted by the operating teams led to the immediate solving of the case.
