Summer Deaflympics at Sports On Air

SPORTS On Air welcomes the merry month of May with another interesting discussion in sports this weekend.

Lester Lagos, president of the Philippine Sports Federation of the Deaf, and Ernesto Guzman, Jr., the men’s under-50 champion of the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, will take center stage during the 10:30 a.m. session.

Lagos, who will be accompanied by a sign language interpreter, will discuss the coming activities of the PSFD, as well as the coming participation of Abbie Nuevo in the Summer Deaflympics in Brazil.

Guzman, on the otherhand, will share his experience in winning the gold medal in the under-50 category in theWold Taekwondo Pommsae Championships.
