Student nabbed for selling weed
SAN JOSE CITY — A 19-year-old student tagged as a newly-listed drug personality was arrested on Monday for selling P240-worth of marijuana to a police agent during a buy-bust operation in this city.
City police head Lt. Col. Ariel V. Enriquez said the drug sting was conducted in Bgy. Calaocan at 5 p.m. on Monday.
Enriquez said his men, after conducting validation and surveillance activities, pulled off the police operation and arrested the young suspect, a resident of Zone 10, Bgy. Abar 1st.
According to Enriquez, the suspect is a newly-listed drug personality.
Also recovered from the arrested student was a plastic sachet containing marijuana weighing one gram worth P120.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 are being readied for filing in court against the arrested young drug peddler.
