SOLID ALLIANCE
THE Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, composed of the five largest political parties in the country, remains unshaken and united as its senatorial slate continues to gain broad and growing support nationwide.
This was the firm assurance of campaign manager and Navotas City Rep. Toby Tiangco, who underscored the coalition’s strength and the clear endorsement it is receiving from the Filipino people.
“The five-party Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, composed of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Lakas-CMD, Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), National Unity Party (NUP), and Nacionalista Party (NP), is intact,” Tiangco said in a statement.
He pointed out that Alyansa’s momentum is being fueled not just by traditional alliances but by a groundswell of public support.
“Our candidates continue to receive overwhelming support both at the national and local level, and even from grassroots organizations,” Tiangco said.
“This is something that we welcome and are proud of because politics is about addition, not division. It is about building coalitions. And in any election, every bit of support counts,” he added.
The Alyansa ticket includes former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Senator Pia Cayetano, former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, Senator Lito Lapid, former Senator Manny Pacquiao, former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino, ACT-CIS Representative and former Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo, and Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.
Tiangco highlighted the strategic importance of each candidate in the slate, all of whom were carefully selected by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. himself.
“Ang mga kandidato na Alyansa ay personal na pinili ni Pangulong Marcos dahil sa kanilang mahusay na kakayahan at matatag na karanasan,” he explained. “The Alyansa candidates are part of the administration slate because they are committed to the vision we all share: Bagong Pilipinas.”
He made it clear that the coalition’s mission is to rally support behind common goals and ensure the election of candidates who deserve the public’s trust.
“One of our goals is to build broad support around the shared platform of Alyansa, and our overarching objective is for all our candidates to win because they are capable, committed, and deserving of the trust and confidence of the Filipino people,” he said.
Tiangco said each endorsement is not just a show of support for the candidates but a clear affirmation of the vision for a better Philippines.
“Ang bawat pag-endorso na makukuha ng bawat kandidato ng Alyansa ay patunay na pagtango at pagyakap sa Bagong Pilipinas na isinusulong ng ating Pangulo. And that is what matters most,” Tiangco stressed.
