Rizal PPO holds modified handgun training
CAMP M/GEN. LICERIO I, GERONIMO, Rizal – The Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) under the leadership of P/Col. Dominic L. Baccay conducted a modified handgun training on Thursday, April 27, which was attended by 100 police personnel from different stations.
The said program was held at the East Ridge Firing Range, in Angono, Rizal.
The Provincial Administrative and Resource Management Unit (PARMU) held a briefing, orientation, and lecture about the four “cardinal rules” on gun safety, basic gun handling, proper stance, proper aiming, breathing and trigger squeezing, intensified dry firing, and practical test shooting.
The Rizal PPO said that it is committed to conducting the program that aims to “standardize, develop, and increase” the level of confidence and skill in short firearms and to memorize the proper handling and recognition of short guns in safety procedures among the policemen during the actual firing.
