THE Philippine Sports Commission held a coordination meeting with the city officials of Puerto Princesa in Palawan that will host the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Friendship Games on December 1-5.

Led by Comm. Walter Torres, Mayor Lucilo Bayron, and City Sports Director Atty. Rocky Austria, they inspected venues of eight sports going to be played namely pencak silat, sepak takraw, archery, swimming, badminton, esports, karate, and athletics.

The BIMP-EAGA Friendship Games serve as platform for promoting growth in trade and tourism, through sports, among the member countries.
