PRIMEWATER San Jose Del Monte (PW SJDM) launched its consumer education drive through a series of visits in four barangays in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan recently.

Through the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, PW SJDM strengthens its relationship with their served communities through an intensive Information, Education, Communication (IEC) campaign all throughout the city’s concession area.

During the activity, informative talks and discussions on consumer-related issues, consumer responsibilities, operations-related processes, and consumer complaints in Barangay Minuyan 2 & 3 and Barangay Fatima 1 & 5 have been conducted as PrimeWater strives to improve its services by identifying the needs of its consumers.

Topics discussed included water sources, water meter installation, water service connection application, water meter facts, billing statement details, before and after the meter responsibilities, types of leaks, water conservation, among others.

“We would like to thank Barangay Minuyan 2 & 3, as well as Barangay Fatima 1 & 5 for giving us the opportunity to present and have a dialogue with them. This also our way of letting our consumers and stakeholders know that their concerns are of primary importance to us, it drives us to continuously improve our service and be responsive to our served areas,” emphasizes Atty Cezar S. Ong, Assistant Vice-President for JV Operations of PrimeWater.

Meanwhile, Brgy. Minuyan 3 Barangay Chairman Eduardo Espinosa thanked PrimeWater for the community engagement initiative.

“Maraming salamat po sa pagtungo dito sa aming barangay at nalaman ng aming mga kabarangay ang mga kailangan nila lalo na tungkol sa problema ng tubig, ngayon po ay maipapamahagi na po nila dito sa aming barangay ang mga natutunan nila,” Espinosa said.
