Police seize P116M shabu in Pampanga; P.3M more in Angeles City, 4 nabbed

Camp Olivas, San Fernando, Pampanga- More than P115 million worth of drugs on were seized in a drug operation Sunday in Mexico, Pampanga.

PRO3 director Brig. gen. Matthew Baccay said suspect Muslimin Mohamad Salim, 29, of Lower Bicutan, Taguig City were nabbed by Pampanga police and the PDEA in an entrapment in Lagundi, Mexico, Pampanga.

Baccay said seized from Salim were 50 packs of shabu weighing at least 17 kilos worth P115.6 million, two P1,000 marked money and a Nissan sedan ( NGQ 939).

The suspect will be charged with violation of RA 9165.

Meanwhile, four suspected drug traffickers were arrested and at least P374,000 worth of shabu were seized by the Angeles City police on Sunday in a buy-bust in Angeles City.

Angeles City Police commander Col. Rommel Batangan said members of the Angeles City Police Station 4 led by Lt. Jennies Capili conducted the entrapment that led to the arrest of ‘high value target’ suspects identified as alias Channy, 31, and alias Harry, 42, both from Balibago; alias Rose, 30, of Dau, Mabalacat City, and alias Eliza, 23, of Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.

The suspects were arrested on Lourdes Drive, Balibago, Angeles City which resulted in the confiscation of five plastic sachets containing shabu valued at P374,000, the marked money and two motorcycles.

PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay vowed that the Central Luzon police will continue in its efforts to eradicate all forms of illegal drugs and crimes for a peaceful and safe region.
