
PNP Bataan launches ‘Hustisyang May Kalinga’
RTC judge presents ‘Bataan CARES’
THE BUNKER, Bataan – Bent on giving “fair” justice to the people, Col. Palmer Z. Tria, provincial director, led the other day the launching of the “Hustisyang May Kalinga “ (Balanga City Justice Zone), while Executive Judge Marion Jacqueline Poblete also presented a program called “Bataan CARES.”
In his statement, Tria said the program aims to “Collaborative Action for Rehabilitation, Empowerment, and Support (CARES).” It was held at the Bunker, the seat of the Bataan Capitol in Balanga City, Bataan.
Tria also said the program will create a more “friendly” environment for the rehabilitation needs of those once involved in illegal drugs and “ultimately (create) a drug-free society through the active teamwork and dedication of its members, the pillars of justice.”
During the launch, Mayor Francis Anthony S. Garcia delivered the welcome remarks, followed by Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III as he gave the opening remarks to emphasize the importance of the program in ensuring that “justice is served for all.”
Gov. Garcia lauded the program.
Moreover, Executive Judge Marion Jacqueline Poblete also presented the Bataan CARES program, outlining its objectives, strategies, and expected outcomes. The program includes various initiatives such as legal aid, alternative dispute resolution, community-based rehabilitation, and mental health support.
Tria committed his full support to the project and affirmed that Bataan Provincial Police Office’s (PPO) thrust in working together with various agencies to safeguard the community’s safety, security, and well-being is at its fullest.
