Pampanga’s 6 most wanted fall
City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Six most wanted persons in the province were arrested on Wednesday in intensified operations by the Pampanga police.
Pampanga police director Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay identified the arrested suspects as Jaype Yaya. 28, of Barangay San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga; Crisanto dela Cruz, 40, of Bgy. Agustin, San Simon, Pampanga ; Philip Roque, 46, and Fernando Yalung Jr., 36, both of Bgy. Sta. Ccruz, Porac; Ryan Pingul, 38, of Bgy. Paligui, Apalit, Pampanga; and Ruiz Dagdag, 40, of Bgy. Sto. Domingo, Minalin, Pampanga.
Ibay said Dela Cruz, San Simon town’s most wanted, was arrested based on a warrant issued against him by Macabebe Regional Trial Court Judge Katherine Legarda Pajaron for rape and sexual assult.
Yaya was arrested for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while Pingul has a warrant for carnapping.
Roque, a member of Sputnik Gang and number 4 in the police’s Sibat target, as well as Yalung were arrested in separate operations for robbery.
Dagdag, the sixth most wanted in Baguio City, was arrested in Minalin by joint elements of the Minalin and Tuba police based on a warrant for child abuse issued by Benguet RTC Judge Mia Joy Crisostomo Cawed.
Ibay said the Pampanga police are working closely with other PNP units. He urged the public to support them in their campaign against wanted criminals in the province.
