P.5M shabu seized in Pampanga stings

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Seven drug suspects yielded more than P500,000 worth of shabu during a two-day drug operation in the region.

Pampanga police said 32 plastic sachets containing shabu worth at least P481,720, at least P3,500 marked money, and a loaded .38 caliber pistol were confiscated from the suspects.

In a report to PRO3 regional director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon, Mabalacat police chief Lt. Col. Rossel Cejas said the biggest haul came from William Flores alias Lupot, 42, of Sitio Aguso, Brgy. San Francisco, Mabalacat City, who yielded eight plastic sachets weighing 56 grams valued at P380,800.

Angeles City police conducted drug-busts in Biglang Sibul, Purok 10, Bgy. Pulung Maragul and in front of Capaya II, Market place on Lazatin St., Bgy Capaya II resulting in the arrest of Reynaldo Canarias, 23, and Rio Garlan, 22, both of Biglang Sibul, Purok 10, Bgy. Pulung Maragul, Angeles City. Seized from them were three plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth at least P13,600.

In Bulacan, police nabbed drug peddlers Mary Rose Manucom alias Brumbrum, 40, of Sevilla St., Bgy. Atlag, Malolos City; Annalyn Hirota, 40, an entertainer and resident of Balanti Purok 5, Bgy. Lagundi, Plaridel; and Tarhata Dumato alias Tata, 42, a vendor of Sevilla St., Bgy. Atlag, Malolos City.

Confiscated from the three suspects were 18 plastic sachets containing shabu with a street DDB value of P33,320.

In Olongapo City, police arrested Daven Flores, 36, of Purok 6-B, Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales in a drug bust in Bgy. Barretto and seized a .38 caliber pistol loaded with four live bullets and three plastic sachets of shabu worth P54,000.

De Leon said the suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165.
