P600K MJ bricks seized in Mariveles
MARIVELES, Bataan – Bricks of marijuana worth at least P600,000 were seized Friday from two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in this town.
The suspects were identified as Challikis Katoken, 23, a student residing in Brooks Point, Aurora Hills, Baguio City; and Kari Briggs Gile, 23, of Quezon Hills, Baguio City,
The entrapment conducted by joint operatives of the Bataan police, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bataan and Mariveles police yielded four bricks of dried leaves of marijuana and two plastic bags containing marijuana fruiting tops with a total street value of P600,000 as well as the marked money.
The two suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
