P.8M shabu seized, 4 fall in Sta Cruz buy-bust

FOUR suspected drug pushers were arrested and over P.8 million worth of shabu were seized during a buy-bust conducted by the Manila Police District-Station (MOD-3) 3 in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

Station 3 Commander Col. John Guagui identified the arrested suspects as Ramil Gamboa, 36, said to be a member of the Commando Gang and residing at 5 Don Antonio St., Villa Beatriz Subd., Matandang Balara, Quezon City; Reden Crisostomo, 39, of 45 Laura St., Old Balara, Quezon City; Lester Cezar, 18, of 38 Laura St., Old Balara, Quezon City and Sherwin Gloria, 29, a member of the Bahala Na Gang Gang and residing on Herbosa Street, Tondo, Manila.

Confiscated from them 125 grams of shabu with a street value of P863,600 and the 32 fake bills used in the buy-bust operation, along with a Toyota Vios and Yamaha Mio motorcycle.

Guiagui said the operation was conducted at 1:50 a.m. at the corner of Rizal Avenue and Tayuman Street where a policeman posed as a buyer and 127 plastic sachets of shabu were seized.

The suspects were aboard the said vehicles when the transaction was consummated. They were charged with possession of dangerous drugs before the Manila Prosecutors’ Office.
