
Noveleta to conduct CBDRP
NOVELETA, Cavite – The local government here under Mayor Dino Chua, through Noveleta Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council in partnership with Noveleta Ministerial Fellowship Incorporated, will conduct a Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) with the theme, “Sipag-Sagip Simula ng Pag-asa, Sugpuin at Gamutin upang Ingatan ang Pamayanan” every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Victory Church of Jesus Christ in Barangay San Jose 2 here.
The Office of the Mayor, Municipal Administrator, Rural Health Unit, the local police together, with the said church led by Pastor EJ Grepo came together to save the citizens “who were engulfed in this bad habit.”
“Napakalaking bagay po nito sa ating bayan, malaking tulong po ito upang mailigtas natin ang mga naligaw ng landas at nalulon sa masamang bisyo, andito po ang ating tanggapan na buong suporta po sa program ito,” Mayor Chua said.
CBDRP was a Department of Health (DOH)-certified program, according to Dr. Hilda Bucu, Noveleta Municipal Health Officer.
While the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) of Silang, Cavite, held a meeting led by Mayor Atty. Kevin A. Anarna, Municipal Administrator Nathaniel “Jung” Anarna Jr., DILG (Department of the Interior and Local Government), and CP Edgar A. Ambagan from the Prosecution Service.
It was attended by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), local police led by Police chief P/Maj. Romulo Dela Rea, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), RHU, STMO, and other department heads of the local government of Silang.
The accomplishment reports of various agencies regarding the progress of reducing the crime rate and drug-related crimes in the town of Silang were discussed.
