No permit, no exam batas na

NILAGDAAN na ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Republic Act 11984 o “No Permit, No Exam Prohibition Act.”

Saklaw ng batas ang lahat ng public at private basic (K to 12) institutions, higher education institutions at technical vocational institutions (TVIs).

Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos, dahil sa bagong batas, papayagan na ang mga estudyante na makakuha ng periodic at final examinations kahit pa may hindi nababayarang tuition at iba pang school fees.

“All public and private educational institutions covered by this Act are hereby mandated to accommodate and allow disadvantaged students unable to pay tuition and other fees to take the periodic and final examinations without requiring a permit,” saad ng batas.

“Provided, however, that in the case of K to 12 students, the mandate shall be for the entire school year.”

Inaatasan ng batas ang mga municipal, city at provincial social welfare at development officer, o ang regional office ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na magbigay ng karampatang certificate para sa mga disadvantaged status ng mga estudyante dulot ng kalamidad, emergencies, force majeure, at iba pang good o justifiable reasons.

Sino mang lalabag sa batas ay papatawan ng administrative sanctions ng Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
