No. 11 MWP ‘rapist’ nabbed in Batangas
A 54-YEAR-OLD farmer wanted for rape and was hiding for several months was nabbed by joint operatives in a massive police operation in Bgy. Kaylaway, Nasugbu, Batangas the other day.
A report by PCol. Glicerio C. Cansilao, Batangas Provincial Director to PBGen. Antonio C. Yarra, Regional Director, Police Regional Office CALABARZON, the accused was identified as Yolito Rogelio alias “Uncle Roger” who currently resides in the said area.
Rogelio, tagged as the No.11 most wanted person (MWP) at the regional level and had a warrant of arrest issued from the Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 14, Nasugbu, Batangas dated December 10, 2021, was apprehended by joint forces of the Nasugbu Municipal Police Station and a member of the 2nd Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company (BPMFC) at exactly 8:30 p.m. in Sitio Balagbag, Bgy. Kaylaway.
The accused is now detained at the police station lock-up cell for proper disposition.
